Who we are
This page is run by the Rangeview 409 sales team at Calgary One.
What we collect
- What you type into our forms: your name, email, phone, occupation, current address, employer, buyer type and the homes you choose.
- Your photo ID, if you submit the reservation worksheet.
- Messages you send us on WhatsApp, by SMS or by email.
- How you found this page (for example the ad or link you came from) and how you use it, through the Meta Pixel and Google Analytics.
Why we collect it
- To answer your questions and send the information you asked for.
- To reserve a home for you and prepare your purchase agreement.
- To confirm your identity, as required for real estate transactions.
- To understand which ads and pages work, so we show fewer irrelevant ads.
Messages and your consent
We contact you by WhatsApp, SMS or email only if you agree to it. You can stop anytime: reply STOP, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or tell us.
Your photo ID
Your ID is encrypted before it is stored. Only our admin team can open it, and every time it is opened is recorded. It is deleted automatically 30 days after you send it, unless your purchase goes ahead. Then it is kept with the purchase records for as long as the law requires (identity records for real estate transactions are kept for 5 years).
Where it is stored
On servers in Toronto, Canada. We use trusted service providers to run this: DigitalOcean (hosting and storage), Meta (WhatsApp and ad measurement), Google (analytics) and our email provider. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
Your rights
Under Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act you can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta (oipc.ab.ca).
